"Earl" is Definitely Finished

Although there was some talk of 20th Century FOX striking a deal with TBS to keep the show on the air, it just isn't going to happen. FOX issued ann announcement to the public today that the deal fell through, stating that "they could not make the economics work." Unfortunately, the 4th season of the show was the last.

  1. This was such a great concept and the first couple seasons were great.

But like most comedies, it fell into a rut and all the episodes began to look the same, with the same formula.

It will have a decent year in syndication, then within a couple years, it will not be found anywhere.

  2. It's first season was great. Seasons 2 and 3 fell off, and from the few episodes I watched of season 4, it was terrible. Unfortunately, a once good concept got old very fast. It's season finale couldn't even top 5 million viewers. It was time to cancel it.

  4. I liked Earl this season than i did any of the other seasons. I would have loved to see it continue and find out more about that DNA test they had done because that is rely pokeing at me on what that was about. Or a movie or something just to finish off the series and get all the loose ends tied up.

  5. I liked earl this season more than i have liked it any other season of the show. i rely did want the show to come back and finish it's run on TV, but with it being too expensive to produce, it will sadly have to end like how The War At Home Ended, with a cliffhanger. I wish they could have like finish the series and tie up all the loose ends in a movie or something.
