Do you have a pilot up your sleeves that you've been secretly writing? Are you interested in letting the public know your TV ideas? The PIFeedback forums have started the summer project known as "PIF 2009."
It's a simple concept - we are starting a fantasty television network known as PIF, which will be competing with the other 5 networks in the fall. Right now, we're accepting everyone's TV concepts, pilots, and ideas! All you have to do is go to PIFeedback (at the link provided at the bottom), register for free, and post your TV pilot idea. We currently have many, many concepts to pick through. At the same time, you can discuss which ones you think are the best and deserve a spot on the lineup.
Entries will be accepted throughout summer. In July, a few of us will begin picking up pilots and putting together a Fall 2009 schedule that will launch in September (keep in mind, though, that not all pilots will be picked up). As it launches, forum members will be able to vote for which show/network they'd be watching in each hour of each night (for example, if it was Monday night, you'd be able to vote for the network you'd be watching at 8pm, 9pm, and 10pm, according to the show). We'll be calculating ratings, as well as making cancellations, extra renewals, and all the decisions that the actual networks make.
This sounds like a lot of fun, and we so far have many, many great ideas! Just go on over, post your TV concept, look at some of the others, and have fun! If you have any questions you can post a comment below!
