I thought we'd end our day of news on a good note. As you all probably know, the legendary television, movie, and broadway actress Bea Arthur, mainly known for her roles as Maude Findley on Maude and Dorothy Zbornak on The Golden Girls, died on Saturday, peacefully in her home, at the age of 86. She was secretly suffering from cancer, something most people, including myself, didn't know, which is why the news comes as a surprise to most.
She was one of the best actresses on television. Her witty one-liners and laughable stares mader her one of television's tough women to love in the 70's, 80's, and 90's. She starred in 2 hit shows, and was always amazing in her acting styles. She will definitely be missed by all, including myself.
I found this great video, of her Golden Girls costars talking about Bea and her surprising death, which is definitely worth watching. You can head on over to msnbc.com at the link below to watch:

Also, TV Land, WE, and Hallmark networks will be honoring Bea. TV Land will air both her All in the Family appearances tomorrow and Wednesday morning at 9am. Hallmark will air a Golden Girls Memorial Day marathon on Monday, May 25 from 6:30am-2:30pm, featuring Bea's greatest moments. And lastly, WEtv will be airing marathons of Bea's greatest moments on The Golden Girls today, 5pm to 12am, and on Thursday, April 30, from 9:30pm-1am.
As always, you can post your thoughts and prayers for Bea - she will definitely be missed! RIP Bea!
