CBS Brings Back Million Dollar Password This Summer

If you all remember, CBS returned Million Dollar Password to their schedule last December, where it aired Sundays at 8pm for 3 or 4 episodes. It was previously airing last summer, in the same slot, and doing very well. But, they brought it back, and while it was doing just as well (although its demo was kind of low), CBS mysteriously yanked it from the schedule.

Most assumed the show was cancelled, although they still have many episodes left in the can. But now CBS has confirmed that Million Dollar Password will be once again returning with new episodes Sunday at 8pm beginning May 24. It's still unclear as to whether or not new episodes are being produced, but if not, CBS will just air the ones that are still in the can, 5 or 6 episodes only.

It's a good show, and I guess CBS thought the smart thing to do would be to just leave it airing in the summer. And watch out for other CBS summer changes soon, which includes a new season of Big Brother and many repeats!

EDIT: Seems like 2 burn-off episodes will air, along with a few repeats, before Big Brother 12 premieres in the Sunday 8pm slot. As of now, Million Dollar Password appears to be cancelled, unless it somehow does well this summer.
